1.Do you have your image from MicroObservatory all ready to go? IF NOT… Stop this quiz now and read the instructions for obtaining an image from MicroObservatory in the Lesson’s “Overview”

2.What kind of astronomical object did you choose?

3.Now do some research on your object, and answer a few questions about it (use whatever reliable resources you like, starting with our online textbook at TeachAstronomy.com). First, when was your object discovered, and by whom?

Now, tell us one interesting thing about your object that you learned while researching it, or that made you choose to observe it in the first place.

It look nice and visible to open eyes at night.

5.For the image you received from MicroObservatory, what wavelengths of light are being observed?

6.Based on what you have learned in this class, what additional observation(s) would you request to help learn more about your object, and why? For example, infrared images of a nebula would help see through dust and gas to observe the stars within.

Infared images of galaxy would help see through dust and gas to obeserve starts.

7.Finally, find one other image of your object online, and compare and contrast the image you found with the image you received from MicroObservatory. List one similarity, and one difference.

both are easy to clarify because shapes are different

8.Consider the course material up to this point. Why do you think studying this particular object (or kind of object) is interesting, and important? For example, observations of Titan, the largest moon of Saturn have uncovered evidence of vast oceans of hydrocarbons which could support forms of microscopic life.

This course is very much productive and enrich our knowledge.
